About Me
Priscila is a bilingual licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) and ERYT (experienced registered yoga instructor) who approaches healing from a holistic framework addressing the whole person-mind, body, heart and spirit.
Priscila understands the important connection between body, mind and spirit and incorporates trauma informed body-based approaches, traditional indigenous wisdom and social justice framework to address historical trauma due to social, cultural, and political inequalities impacting mental and emotional wellness of people and their communities.
In addition, Priscila offers evidenced-based techniques such as EMDR, Mindfulness based cognitive psychotherapy, TF-CBT and trauma-informed care. Priscila practices from a liberatory anti-oppressive stance
Next Steps, Together
Priscila acknowledges the realities of systemic oppression and is aware of her own privileges and how they impact her work in the community. Priscila is actively engaged in decolonizing old paradigms and committed to the well-being and collective liberation of our mind, body, and spirit regardless of class, race, gender, sexuality, age or ability.
